Ready to Run part 1
Her hooves rustled through the thin grass, then faltered as she stumbled to a halt; she -it has been so long since she was Altered, from an ordinary young woman, to this bizarre form, that she couldn't even remember her name- had fled from her masters days ago, she had run, and run, and run for days, too terrified to stop for food, or water, or sleep.
Now she could run no further.
A mist hung thick over the stony ground, so she could not see even the stars to tell where she was going.
There was a sound, the scuff of a boot on rock.
